Khyber Medical University Announces CAT 2026 Schedule for Orthotics Prosthetics Admissions
PESHAWAR – Khyber Medical University (KMU) has officially released the registration schedule for its Centralised Admission Test (CAT), a mandatory entrance examination for admission to undergraduate programs at its constituent and affiliated institutions for the 2026–27 academic session.
According to a press release issued by the university, online registration will commence on June 10. The first admission test is slated for July 26, with subsequent tests scheduled for September 20 and October 25, offering candidates additional opportunities to improve their scores.
The CAT 2026 will serve as the primary gateway to a range of competitive health sciences programs, including Prosthetics and Orthotics, among others.
To accommodate applicants nationwide, KMU has established test centers across 14 cities and regions, including Peshawar, Islamabad, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Swat, Lower Dir, Hazara, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Haripur, Chitral, and Parachinar.
Eligibility criteria require candidates to have passed the FSc (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent examination. Students awaiting their final results are also eligible to apply.
The university has advised candidates to download and print their roll number slips at least one week prior to their scheduled examination date.
